About Us
Backyard Aquaponics Magazine
The Backyard Aquaponics Magazine was started by Joel Malcolm, the moderators and administrators of the Backyard Aquaponics Forum.
The magazine was seen as the most efficient method of getting up-to-date information out to people who had an interest in aquaponics, as well as an easy way to condense some of the information from within the online discussion forum in an easy to read and understandable format.
We recieved immense interest from the first edition of the magazine, and since its release we have continued to produce a quarterly edition. Which is available for download via our online shop.
In each edition we showcase different aquaponic systems, giving details about how people have built their systems and how reliable and productive they have been. We will also feature a different marine species in each magazine that is suitable for growing in an aquaponic system.
The BYAP magazine aims to spread information about aquaponics to as many people as possible, to help people design, build and maintain, their own aquaponic systems, with useful advice and information.
